Each year, NHN sets annual hiring target for each business division to calculate the requisite resources. Subsequently, quantative metrics are applied for reviews and adjusts to determine the optimal hiring scale. The recruitment department collaborates closely with each business unit throughout the entire recruitment process to ensure that talents with experience and skills the organization needs are secured. NHN leverages various channels such as NHN Academy, technology conferences, and job fairs to identify talents who meet the characteristics of each position and is devoted to continuously diversify recruitment channels and strive to secure a global talent pool through vigorous recruitment programs.

Recruitment-connected Programs

We continue to conduct recruitment-connected internships that select potential and talented individuals to undertake tasks for a certain period of time and hire based on the performance.We recruit tech personnel for various entities including graduates of NHN Academy, an educational institution specializing in software development technology.

Concentrated Recruitment Campaign per Position

To recruit talents for various positions in a short period of time, we create and promote contents such as job interviews and organizational introduction videos and offer privileges to applicants who apply during the campaign period.

Participating Recruitment Conference

We regularly participate in recruitment conferences organized by local recruitment platforms to secure candidates for open positions.

Outbound Recruitment

We keep on monitoring talent platforms to recruit talented individual and construct a pool of potentially qualified candidates.

In line with our dedication to diversity, we have set a target to achieve a minimum of 20% representatives with females by 2024, and make best efforts to review our diversity targets and performance regularly at least once a year by the Head of ESG.

Nurturing Talent and Supporting Growth

Under the banner of NHN's new slogan, “Better,” NHN has been providing various training programs since 2023 aimed at becoming better people, better organizations, and better leaders for employees. The “Better“ program provides tailored training across the employee lifecycle, offering the right education at each stage and Job-Specific Training to enhance professional skills. Additionally, through self-development support programs, NHN encourages employees to grow and enhance their capabilities through self-directed learning. NHN offers comprehensive, step-by-step leadership training for leaders, from those who are promoted to new team leaders and executives to those who are appointed to top management, and also provides training for other general employees to improve their work performance and organizational management skills, supporting the smooth operation of organizations. All training programs offered by NHN are available to all employees, including contractors and temporary workers.

Better Learn Tech

Job competency training for technical positions. On-the-job technical training such as development/cloud/server, network/security/programming, etc. are provided.

Better Plus

An education platform operated to foster self-directed growth for members, providing more than 300 diverse educational contents by partnering with three education companies: Fast Campus, Inflearn, and Learning Spoons.

Tech Seminar

External lecturers are invited to conduct seminars more than 6 times a year to help strengthen members' competencies and foster insights.

Certification Support

NHN operates a certification support program to enhance the professional skills of its employees. For job-related certifications, NHN provides full coverage of exam fees and training costs, and also supports exam fees for non-work-related certifications. This support program is available to all employees including contractors and temporary workers, and in 2023, a total of 23 employees successfully obtained certifications.
